Frequently asked questions about accessibility

Which accessibility standards does HOVIGuard target?+

We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA combined with the requirements of the Austrian Web Accessibility Act (WZG) and the European Accessibility Act (EAA, Directive EU 2019/882). The site is partially conformant; known limitations are listed in the accessibility statement.

How is accessibility tested?+

Currently via a self-assessment by the provider — using keyboard navigation, screen-reader spot-checks and automated tools such as axe-core and Lighthouse. An external certification per EN 301 549 is planned for Q4 2026.

What known limitations exist?+

Some AI-generated images do not yet receive automatic alt-text. Complex dashboard charts are not yet fully optimised for screen readers (parallel table views are planned). Mermaid diagrams do not yet have an automatic text alternative; a source-toggle is available.

Where can I report barriers or feedback?+

By email to datenschutz@hoviguard.eu or by phone at +43 660 1495489. We typically reply within 14 days.

Which dispute body can I contact?+

If we do not respond satisfactorily, you may contact the dispute resolution body per § 14 BGStG at the Sozialministeriumservice (Babenbergerstraße 5, 1010 Vienna, 0800 20 16 11). Details are in the accessibility statement.
